I'm Dipack, an engineer of the software kind by trade. I like football, reading books (especially sci-fi), and hiking.

My interests in software mainly lie in the data rights and privacy space. In recent years I have grown wary of surrendering my personal data to Big Tech, like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, etc., and while I haven't completely stopped using their services, I have taken quite a few steps to reduce the amount of information I share with them. My hope is that one day the general population will understand that large companies, in any sector, must have strong oversight to avoid the information/power/rights asymmetry we face today.

In terms of the tecnhnologies I'm comfortable with, and proficient in, they are: NodeJS, Typescript, JavaScript, React, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Scala, Java, Golang, Python, and Docker. I'm also familiar with infrastructure configuration languages like Terraform and Terragrunt. I have extensive experience with Linux (my daily driver runs Solus Linux, and Debian), and I am comfortable with some AWS offerings, specifically S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and Lambda.
